We are so glad you are interested in CCN
We want you to have a meaningful worship experience and grow closer to God
We look forward to meeting you.
What to Expect
A typical service will last about 60 minutes. You can expect to sing a few songs, hear a challenging message, and be encouraged to take a step in your relationship with Jesus.
Common Questions
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our worship experiences. CCN is not about what you look like or what you wear. Dress in what is comfortable for you!
If you are new to our church, we will not embarrass you, have you stand for recognition, or expect you to give money. If you would prefer to sit with someone during the service, but you do not know anyone, contact us prior to your arrival and we can match you with a current member or family
We understand that it can be uncomfortable visiting somewhere for the first time. We have a friendly congregation that will make you feel welcomed. Ask any of our greeters if you need assistance in finding a Sunday School classroom, a restroom or even a drink of water.
There are bulletins available each Sunday that have the scriptures being used printed out, announcements and a calendar of upcoming events. You will find the bulletins on the welcome table when you arrive.
On Sunday mornings we have a nursery available, upon request, for children under the age of 3 during both the Sunday School hour and the Worship Service. We have Sunday School classes for the children, teens and adults.
During worship time the children will generally sit with their families for the opening and music time before being dismissed to attend Children's Church.
Throughout the year our teens engage in Sunday School, Church Youth activities, Community Youth activities and Summer Camp at Camp Table Rock.
Children may engage in Sunday School, Children's Church, Children's Christmas programs and Summer Camp
We believe that stewardship is important, but we also believe that we are here to serve you. If you are new to our congregation, we don't want you to feel any obligation to give. You are our guest. If you choose to make CCN your home, we hope you will give as you feel lead by the Lord.
In the Nazarene Church, communion is a sacrament that is observed at least once a quarter. At CNC, communion is served the first Sunday of each month. All who recognize Jesus Christ are welcome to receive communion, even the children. We understand that you may choose not to participate because you feel uncomfortable receiving communion at our church or by the method by which it is presented. We recognize that the receiving of communion is very personal to each individual.
